My name is Ida Ansell, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor practicing in New Orleans, LA. My approach is rooted in the belief that your struggle does not define your worth, and your most vulnerable, authentic self is the source of your greatest creative power.

I help people move beyond the cycles of exhaustion and self-abandonment to build an unshakable inner foundation. My focus is providing the clarity and structure needed to make lasting, authentic shifts and claim an unburdened life.

I offer specialized therapeutic support and bespoke coaching intensives (like The Creative Anchor).

My approach combines deep psychological insight with directive, clear structure. I specialize in providing a clear map for sustained change, helping clients activate their inner wisdom rather than simply talking through their past.

I integrate Internal Family Systems (IFS) practices into a psychodynamic orientation, which externalizes emotional responses into separate parts. This allows us to compassionately interact with them. As self-compassion builds, your innate wisdom unlocks and enables you to step into your integrity & find inner peace.
